Often, people wonder how to mark the Feast of Pentecost, where Christians celebrate the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives and in our Church. This year, Pentecost is taking place on Sunday the 23rd May, and you are invited to join others around the world in prayer to mark the nine days between Ascension (13th May) and Pentecost Sunday.
As this site develops, you'll find prayers, readings, visual material and links to other sites to help you reflect in your preparation for Pentecost.
The nine days of prayer have a particular Roman Catholic emphasis, but are able to be adapted for use by anybody interested in praying for a fresh experience of God's Spirit in our world.
